Reach people who are already planning a move here

Advertise your vacancies to candidates abroad whose own immigration plan points at Canada, and understand what hiring one of them would involve before you commit to it. Verified employers can discover candidates and request introductions where our lawyers have opened the service.

What is open today

Five stages, and where each one stands

Register, list a role, and follow its activity. Candidate discovery and introductions also require a verified organization and an open service in the province.

Register your organization

Tell us who you are and where you hire. We check the organization against public records before anything it lists is called verified, and we write down what we checked.

List a role

The job, the place, the pay where you give it, and whether you would consider someone who is not in Canada yet. Listings go in front of people whose own immigration plan already points here.

See what your listing did

Views, clicks and saved searches for each role you list. Engagement is engagement: a view is not an application and a click is not a hire, and we never dress one up as the other.

Where introductions are open

See who is there

Counts of people who chose to be counted, in fixed occupation and province groups, with any group of fewer than ten left out. No names, no contact details, and nothing at all in a province whose recruitment rules our lawyers have not confirmed.

For verified employers

Ask for an introduction

Where introductions are open, a verified organization asks directly or lets Global Compass ask when a position matches its chosen cutoff. The candidate decides, can decline without giving a reason, can withdraw afterwards, and is never charged for an introduction.

The lines we don’t cross

What a candidate is promised

People opt in to be seen here, and they do it on terms we keep. An employer gets a better introduction because of it, not a worse one.

  • We never send a candidate’s immigration assessment or immigration scores to an employer. Their selected profile fields and the position match are separate.
  • We never show a name or contact details before the candidate has accepted an introduction.
  • We never charge a candidate for an introduction.
  • We never treat an ordinary job posting as a promise that an employer will support a work permit.

How Talent reads positions and ranks candidates

In the Talent hiring workspace, an AI service reads the job description you give it and proposes a requirement profile; you confirm it; a published formula ranks candidates on the facts they confirmed; and your team decides. The Talent terms say the same in full.

The Talent terms · Privacy policy

  • When you paste or upload a job description, an AI service, Anthropic, in the United States, reads only that text under a data processing agreement with zero data retention, and proposes a requirement profile: the occupation, must-have and preferred skills, experience, credentials, languages, terms and screening questions. Paste only the description itself, without anyone’s personal details.
  • Nothing is used until you confirm or edit it.
  • Candidates’ facts are proposed the same way from their own documents, with their name and contact details removed first, and count only once each candidate confirms them.
  • A published formula, not the AI, ranks candidates on those confirmed facts, with weights that add up to 100 for each occupation family.
  • It never reads a name, photo, age or date of birth, gender, citizenship, country of origin, religion, family status, street address or graduation years. It never penalises gaps between jobs and never scores Canadian experience.
  • A missing fact never excludes a candidate; it becomes a question to ask. A candidate who does not meet a requirement you set is listed apart, with the reason, for a person on your team to review.
  • Candidates found through matching stay anonymous, without a name, contact details or the sentences quoted from their documents, until they accept an introduction.
  • Your team makes every decision about whom to contact, interview and hire, and candidates can ask a person to review any result that concerns them.
  • A fit score compares confirmed facts; it does not predict job performance and does not replace your judgment.
  • Ontario requires an employer with 25 or more employees that uses artificial intelligence to screen, assess or select applicants to say so in each publicly advertised job posting, including when a service such as Talent does it on the employer’s behalf; Talent provides a statement you can paste, and whether a given posting is covered is for you to confirm.
  • Candidates never pay for Talent.
After you find someone

Hiring from abroad is an immigration decision too

Once you have a person in mind, an assessment gives you the work permit routes open to them, what each asks of you, the government fees and the processing times the government publishes.
